What is IPM?

 

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a program of prevention, monitoring, and control that offers the opportunity to eliminate or drastically reduce the use of pesticides. IPM does this by utilizing a variety of methods and techniques, including cultural, biological and structural strategies to control a multitude of pest problems.

 

The IPM program has essential steps to success that must be taken:

 

Observations. This includes regular site inspections and trapping to determine they types and infestation levels of pests at each site.

 

Reporting. A reporting system is important to establish trends and patterns in pest sightings. After every service, Regan Pest Services will supply a service report for your record keeping in regards to sanitation, pest sightings, and method of treatment.
